Prayer Support

Prayer has always been a key part of life in the Vennard family.
If you have a request, email it to us and we will share the request at our Facebook page where your Vennard family will support you with prayer.
Each year, alumni volunteer to pray for our scholarship recipients. If you would be willing to add our students to your prayer list, send us an email to let us know.
The VCAA Board would like to reinstate the position of Chaplain to the Board. The Chaplain would email prayer volunteers a few times during the year to thank them and remind them. Also the Chaplain checks the prayer requests at the Facebook page, and posts a prayer. If you are interested in this position, we can send you the details.

The Vennard tradition of having a Year Verse and/or a Life Verse goes all the way back to our founder. Dr. Vennard would prayerfully select a verse for each graduating senior, and hand-write that verse on a card that she would present to the student. At right is one of these cards, written for Miss Ellis.

Dorothy Lanz shared with us:
This verse was given to my husband, James Lanz, by Dr. Iva Vennard.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.~~John 15:16 KJV
