Frequently Asked Questions    

Q: If I register for the Campus Package, is there a discount if I don’t stay in the dorm all three nights or eat all of my meals on campus?  
A: The Campus Package rate is based on our group reserving various campus facilities for the duration of the reunion. Therefore, we cannot give “per day” or “per meal” discounts.

Q: If I register for the Olathe Package, can I pay extra to eat meals on campus?
A: Several people have asked if they can stay off-campus, and purchase an on-campus meal package. If you are staying off-campus, the only meal available is the Saturday night dinner. That is the "Olathe Package." Other meals are not available to off-campus attendees. MNU does not have kitchen staff during the summer, so they subcontract with a local food vendor to provide meals for their on-campus camp/conference guests. We have already signed the contract locking in our numbers, and are unable to make changes. When we toured Olathe last summer in preparation for the reunion, we found several fast food and sit-down restaurants near the college. Hopefully those will work well for your meals on Friday and Saturday morning/afternoon.

Q: Does the registration fee include children?
A: Campus Package: Children ages 11 and up will each be charged the $105 rate. Children ages 4-10 will not be charged for lodging, but will be charged $42 for their meals.
Olathe Package: If children ages 4 and up will be attending the Saturday night banquet, they will be charged $10. 

Q: Why is the reunion being held at MidAmerica Nazarene University?
A: When Vennard College closed, MidAmerica offered to house our archives and help us with any future reunions and gatherings. They have been wonderful to work with and we are thankful for their partnership in this event.  It is also centrally located with nearby access to a major airport.
