Graduate of Fletcher College Evangeline Ruth van Breeman Brooks Hebron Logansport - Evangeline vanBreemen Nason Brooks Hebron, 100, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2018 at Woodbridge in Logansport, Indiana. As Mrs. Nason and later as Mrs. Brooks, she taught English, Speech, and Music in several Iowa schools and in Kentucky. She also worked in the State offices in Des Moines, Iowa, before retiring to Green Forest, Arkansas. With a late-in-life marriage to Forest Lynn Hebron, she settled in Seattle, Washington for over ten years. After his death, she returned to live with her daughters in the Midwest. Evangeline was predeceased by her parents, her siblings, and her son, Stephen Brooks. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Swanson, Elaine (Charlie) Bye, and Laurie (Dan) Richardson, their families, the family of Stephen and by many friends and extended family. Memorial services will be held in Perry, Iowa, and in Franklin, Indiana, later in the year.
