Alice Dyretta Boyce graduated from CEI in 1946 with a Bachelor of Sacred Literature.
 

Alice was born 11/17/15 and died 5/3/14. She was the first member of her family to attend college and we all were very proud of her achievements.  She herself, was very pleased that God had led her to Chicago Evangelistic Institute.

In going through her records, a short note was found about a scholarship award signed by Iva Durham Vennard on June 2. 1943.
 
  Alice Boyce was friends with Maren Heisel Larson.
" CEI meant a great deal to these dear ladies who became grounded in their faith at such a formative time in their lives.  Their friendship started at the school and continued until the time of their deaths."
