Timothy J. Woodard, 50, of Ottumwa died at 11:35 a.m. December 26, 2015, at Pella Regional Health Center. He was born September 17, 1965, in Gary, Indiana, to James and Carol Vandervliet Woodard. He married Bethany Hafford on August 20, 1988. Tim attended Vennard College at University Park. His life work was Evangelistic Ministry where he was director and pastor of Timothy Woodard Ministries. He was very proud of his Salvation Army Church Heritage. Surviving are his wife, Beth; his children, Benjamin, Brenden and Rose Woodard, all of Ottumwa; a brother, Lt. John (Faith) Woodard of Danville, Illinois; two sisters, Karlene (Artemio) Haro and Naomi Woodard, both of La Porte, Indiana; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Church of the Nazarene with Major Harold Baugh and Pastor Mark Eigsti officiating. Burial will be in University Park Cemetery in University Park. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
