Festival of Praise 2006

Here are the year verses from Dr. and Mrs. Harris,
our hosts for this annual event.

"........to give unto them..........the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness: that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.  (Isaiah 61:3)
Dr. Harris

My desire is to have the right words to be a witness to a group of ladies in our building.  My verse is found in Psa. 17:3d:  I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress."
Mrs. Harris

From The Message again, Romans chapter 4, verses 20, 21:
"He [Abraham] didn't tiptoe around God's poromise asking cautiously skeptical questions. He plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God, sure that God would make good on what he had said."
Sharon Cox

The yearly verse given to me this is year is from Genesis 15:1: "Do not be afraid, . . .I am your shield, your very great reward." This is a year of transition having just retired from full-time service and now ministering when the doors are opened by the Lord.
Lloyd Hanton

"The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."  For the daily Christian life, these three things should not be the exception, but the norm.  I pray this for my life and ministry in the new year.
Dale Barrett

My year verse is:  John 5:30 (NIV)  "By myself I can do nothing;...for I seek not to please myself but Him who sent me."
Sherri Williams

Psalm 119:114,116 “Thou are my hiding place and my shield: I hope in they Word.Uphold me according to they word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope” This was given to me in FL as I was attending to my Aunt’s things after her passing – being with her during that time was difficult and yet when I read this – I buried it inside for this year – He is my hope and when the hectic and frustrating times are about me – He reminded me of the hiding place in Him that I needed to retreat to and be renewed  - allowing the Word to be my Shield and this will carry me through 2006 – every day or any day that I need Hope. Thanks so much for the email “Festival of Praise”

As always it was good to hear from you.  I have been anticipating the Festival of Praise E-mail. God has given me a verse that several years ago was my year verse but once again He has blessed it to my heart.  It is Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you.  Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you.  I will help you.  I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."  NLT    We are facing some opportunities as a church.  We are making plans to plant another church.  How comforting it is to have the promise of Isaiah 41:10.  I rest in Him!
David Kushman

Matthew 5:13-14
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.   You are the light of the world.  A city on a hill cannot be hidden." My desire is to be salt and light to those in my "world" where I substitute teach.
Rachel (Nygren) Maki, Vennard College, 1989 graduate

Following is my year verse for 2006.  I want my life to emulate that of Barnabas. Acts 11:24  Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and strong in faith.  And large numbers of people were brought to the Lord.  (New Living Translation)
Dale Dorothy

Good afternoon!  Thought I'd better take time to get my year verse sent before I let the deadline slip past me like I did last year.  It's Psalm 62:7 "In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God." NKV
 God bless.
Beth Bagby

My year's verse consists of just a few words from II Timothy 2:3, "Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."  Briefly, in the original, the words "endure hardness" are but one word.  That word is used to describe both Jesus and Paul's sufferings elsewhere in the NT. I think what Paul was trying to communicate to pastor Timothy, and to all, was that General Jesus suffered greatly for The Kingdom and that we, as honorable soldiers, ought to be willing to do the same.
Steve Bagby.

A great promise:  Psalm 92:14 which I want to claim for Fred as well,, and my relatives, and others our age:  "They will still bear fruit in old age; they will stay fresh and green." Thanks for including us.
Margaret Brown

My 2006 Year Verse is Isaiah 32:2, 6 NIV O Lord be gracious to us; we long for you.  Be our strength every morning, Our salvation in time of distress. He will be the sure foundation  for  your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
Delinda Bishop

Here is my year verse for 2006…a continuation of the one God gave me for 2005!  Year verses have been a vital part of my spiritual journey…I’m grateful we were introduced to them at VC. I often encourage people to seek the Lord for a year verse, too. “Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think according to His power at work in us…unto Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen!”  Ephesians 3:20-21
Tim Roehl

The verses that God has impressed on my heart for this year are Psalm 19:7, 14.(NIV)  The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul, The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.  May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Bonnie Hoag Doll

This isn't a year verse it is more like a life verse. When I was a Sophomore at CEI God gave me this verse.  Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Unril now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegrante and the olive tree have not borne fruit.. From this day on I will bless you, Haggai 2:17   Almost a life time laterI I can say God keeps His promises for He has and He does.
James Doll

I learned to ask the Lord for a year verse each year when I was at Vennard College from you, Dr. Harris.  This practice has been so meaningful to me.   This past year, I’ve been so impressed with John Piper’s books and one concept that I’ve taken as my own is what he says , “God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in Him.”  I’m learning to be satisfied in Jesus, not for the gifts He gives us (and He has given us many, the big one being His healing touch on my body!), but for who He is and I’m finding true joy in Him.  I have a growing desire to glorify Jesus and I want to do this by being thoroughly satisfied in Him .    Therefore my year verse for 2006 is: Psalm 9:1 & 2 – “I will thank you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.  I will be filled with JOY because of YOU.   I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.”

A very dear friend of mine helped me encounter my New Years' verses.  I would love to share them with you: Habakkuk 1:5  "Look among the nations!  Observe!  Be astonished!  Wonder!  Because I am doing something in your days--You would not believe itf you were told." and Habakkuk 2:1  I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; and I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me and how I may reply when I am reproved.

I am in Melbourne, FL helping out with my brother (during the late stages of his illness) as much as possible, the Lord gave me this verse for the new year: Psalm 87:7b "All my springs  -- my sources of life and joy are in You." God bless and make these springs continue to flow through you.
Sue Martin

Living Bible -- PS. 42:11 But O my soul, don't be discouraged.  Don't be upset. Expect God to Act! For I know that I shall again have plenty of reason to praise him for all that he will do.  He is my help! He is my God!
Mary Barnes

GOD has once again helped me to see that "I can do all things through CHRIST, who strengthens me."  (Phil. 4: 13)   Even in retirement, HE continues to pour Himself out through me and I continue to be amazed at HIS deep intentional love. Saved to Serve

I trust this finds the both of you well and encouraged in the Lord.  We are well and preparing to leave for the field on the 31st of this month.  In all the chaos of preparing to return to Argentina , God has calmed my heart with this verse which I have in bookmark form as a gift from a prayer supporter.  The verse is Proverbs 4:12 (Heb. Trans.) “As thou goest, step by step, I will open up the way before thee.”
Toy Mast

Thank you for allowing us to participate in this event.  We appreciate the spiritual support that being a part of the extended Vennard family brings.  Julie's verse: Romans 15:5-6. "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify  the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Mark's verse: Philippians 3:12 " Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been  made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me."Blessing on you,
Mark and Julie Secor

My verse for this new year 2006   is: "Hitherto the Lord has helped us."   I Samuel 7:12
After forty-nine years of pastoral and missionary service in Colombia and Haiti, we praise the Lord for His continued help, and for VICTORY in Jesus!   This past year we have seen our church reach out to the Hispanic community, doubling our total attendance.   Praise the Lord for a personal God, ready to help, to lift, to encourage and to save.  Great is His faithfulness! Blessings on you,
Rev. Mitchell J. Cotrone

Not sure if you have heard what happened at JWC.  We have one multi-purpose building on the campus plus an apartment building that houses resident students.  Our admin building is similar to the building at Vennard in the old days.  It houses all our offices, our library, chapel and all our classrooms.  It is only 22,000 square feet and was built in 1982.  On 8 Dec the City's fire communications called at 03:41 to inform me that the fire department responded to a fire alarm at the administration building.  No fire was visible but water was running out of the building on both floors.  I got to the campus in about 15 minutes and discovered a massive flood.  Water was indeed running out of every door on both floors.  A fixture had broken in an upstairs bathroom and ran for approximately 7-8 hours flooding the entire building.  Our losses were catastrophic...over $332,000.  Our library was spared but all the books had to be packed out, shelves removed, drywall cut out, and carpeting removed. We were out of the building from 8 Dec to 14 Jan.   Contractors have been cleaning day and night. On 14 Jan my office was completed and I am trying desperately to catch up on correspondence.
My year verse is probably too late but I wanted to share it.  It is a promise I cling to, especially during some very difficult times right now.
Psalm 121: 1-4.  "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.  Behold, he that keepth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."
Dr. Brian Donley

Eunice's verse is Psalms 95:1   "O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation." (NASB)  and mine is Hebrews 3:13    "encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin." (NASB)
Don & Eunice Coffman

I just chose my year verse in the last couple of days.  It is: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."  Philippians 4:6 I also heard a three sentence benediction at the close of a recent church service that I like and want to pass along.  It seems particularly relevant to most of us in these days:  "The future is ahead of you.  Do not be afraid.  God is already there."
Edna Zimmer

Dear Friends,   It seems like old times. Here I am handing in an assignment after the due date! I have been negligent in checking my e-mail and it accumulated for too long so that I then fell behind in getting replies on their way.   My scripture selection for 2006 is found in Psalm 32 with special focus on 32:8 " I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go: I will counsel you and watch over you"   The entire portion beginning with, "...let everyone who is godly pray..." through the end of the Psalm is marked with the notation "2006 promises claimed" in my current NIV Bible. Thanks again for your faithful work in reminding us of this spiritual exercise.
Verne Summers

The text for me this year is Revelation 5:5-6. These are the verses that talk about the Lion of Judah having prevailed and we are not to weep. the very next verse talks about the lamb that was slain. I used that imagery in my Jr. Sr. high class last week. just the thought of the Lion laying his life down like a lamb is powerful picture. It caused my class to think and question. this allowed me to share my faith again to them. I only pray that Gods word will show fruit. I know it will. In Jesus love
Sam Barber '93

My verse for the year is Acts. 5:29  " Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, "We ought to obey God rather than men".  How true  in this age especially.  May God bless both of you in a special way ....we love you.....
Pastor Betsy Schott

Joshua 1:9: Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. As I wrote this, I seem to remember that a former president of Vennard College claimed this same verse during the difficult years of the transition from Chicago to Iowa. May God bless all of us as we face the new opportunities of 2006.
Don  Hotz

The Year verse the Lord has impressed on my heart is actually the verse of a song. Breathe on Me Breath of God, Fill Me with Life anew, That I may love what Thou dost love, Ander what Thou wouldst do. In the hymnbook this scripture verse is written below the title of the song. "...that the love wherewith Thou hath loved me, may be in them, an I in them..." John 17:26 It was during the Christmas season that these words struck me as a prayer and have keep ringing in my heart in the days since.  So this is my year verse for 06.  It may be a little "unconventional" but it challenges encourages me everytime I think of it.
Sandy Anderson

For me, the 2006 year verse is found in 2 Samuel 22:31-34 "As for God, his way is perfect; The word of the Lord is true.He shields all who hide behind him.Our Lord alone is God; We have no other Savior. God is my strong fortress; He has made me safe.He causes the good to walk a steady tread, Like mountain goats upon the rocks."
Betty Lee Chow

My year verse is Rev 5:12  Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. It has been impressed upon me because of a sermon I downloaded in November,  “Ten Shekels and a Shirt” by Paris Reidhead.
John McMurphy, Ph.D.

Here is the year verse God has given to me for this year.  I must confess I don't always have as definite a year verse as this one God has given to me for this year.  It is Philippians 4:4-6.  (I guess they are verses).    "Rejoice in the Lord always.  Again I will say, rejoice!  Let your gentleness be   known to all men.  The Lord is at hand.  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to   God;"
Phyllis Kushman

Well, here is the word--"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, surely I will help you.  Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand"  Isaiah 41:10 (NASB) This became especially meaningful to me a couple of weeks ago.  Bob is having some serious health problems and the Lord brought this as a real
comfort to me for that day and what is yet to come.
Bev (Mercill) Herivel

This is Joy Smith (Barrett).  Wyatt & I are living in Springdale, Arkansas.  After 23 years of traditional
church ministry, the Lord moved us here to NW Arkansas to plant a church........well, that's what we
thought........but after 3 1/2 years we now know that the Lord moved us here to simply reach the lost
and make disicples.  He also moved us out of our comfort zone into the realm of total dependence on
Him.....and that has been so good. Out of need and experience, the Lord gave us this awesome promise to begin 2006:  Habakkuk 3:17-19 Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vine; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord!  I will be joyful in the God of my salvation.  The Sovereign Lord is my strength!  He will make me as surefooted as a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.
Joy Smith (Barrett)

The verse the Lord gave me for this year is:  Ephesians 6:19 and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,      NAS  This year we will be working half the year on the field and the other half back in the US in homeland ministry.  In both places we want to faithfully proclaim the Gospel message and have God's anointing as we speak.
Larry Carr

am a 1975 Vennard graduate now residing in Dallas, TX. My year verse is as follows: Isaiah 61:1(NRSV) "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners" Sincerely,
Joy Wease Boutakov

Here is a special verse for me this year:  “Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.  Then you will know what God wants you to do.”  Romans 12:2  (NLT)
Cathlene Strong

From Vicki: Hebrews 11:13 - "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth." Vicki: "I am glad I'm a pilgrim."
From Ted: Romans 5:17 - "For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." Ted:  "When I am tempted to despair over this world's
condition, the Lord always seems to provide encouragement through His Word."
Ted & Vicki Drude

My year verse for Isaiah 43:18- 19A  Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
Dave Engbrecht

Each year on Epiphany Sunday our congregation is randomly handed a star with a Christian attribute that we are to work on for the year.  Mine this year was "peace," which immediately brought to mind the following verse: "Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee."  Is. 26:3
Sally Hart

The Lord has impressed a passage on my heart rather than a single verse, so this year I've a "year passage" rather than a "year verse".  3"If you live by my decrees and obediently keep my commandments, 4I will send the rains in their seasons, the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. 5You will thresh until the grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting time; you'll have more than enough to eat and will live safe and secure in your land.    6"I'll make the country a place of peace--you'll be able to go to sleep at night without fear; I'll get rid of the wild beasts; I'll eliminate war. 7You'll chase out your enemies and defeat them: 8Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand and do away with them. 9I'll give you my full attention: I'll make sure you prosper, make sure you grow in numbers, and keep my covenant with you in good working order. 10You'll still be eating from last year's harvest when you have to clean out the barns to make room for the new crops.11"I'll set up my residence in your neighborhood; I won't avoid or shun you; 12I'll stroll through your streets. I'll be your God; you'll be my people. 13I am GOD, your personal God who rescued you from Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians. I ripped off the harness of your slavery so that you can move about freely.  Lev. 26:3-13 (The Message)
Bob Bagley

So glad you are doing FESTIVAL OF PRAISE again this year. Yvonne & I are waiting with expectancy to see what this year will bring. Certainly the Joy of the Lord is in our hearts.  I am reminded of the journey we are on, thus my year verse as follows:
Psalm 25: 4 & 5 Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for you are the
God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.
Herb Anderson

Psalm 62:1 & 2 My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.  He
alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Yvonne Anderson

My verse of praise is found in Psalm 25:3 "No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse."
Jimmy Baldwin

Here is the year verse given me this morning: Psalm 40: 1-3 "I waited patiently for the LORD, *and he inclined unto me, and heard my calling.  He brought me also out of the horrible pit, out of the mire and clay, *and set my    feet upon the rock, and ordered my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, *even a thanksgiving unto our God." Source; translation of the Psalms by Bishop Miles Coverdale, 1535, as printed in The Book of Common Prayer. Happy New Year and all my best wishes to you!
Carl Smith

Many years ago I had a special verse that I cherished.  I am selecting it for this year. "You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you. O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you."  2 Chronicles 20:17 NIV
Dave Bushong

My life verse is Romans 8:28.  For  2006  I would like to choose  Proverbs  3:5 & 6.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not upon your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE shall direct  your paths. The LORD has been  SO  faithful to us and to our family.  We just want to PRAISE HIM   and  worship HIM.  Thank you. In  Chrtist with best wishes for this  NEW YEAR.
John McClimans

We believe the "Festival of Praise" is an extremely beneficial part of the lives of all who are involved, and it is so fitting a tribute to the leadership of Vennard College, beginning with Dr. Vennard, and on through God's appointments of Presidents that followed her, and particularly to the continuing ministry God has placed on your hearts.  Most importantly, it is a tribute to the faithfulness of God to the work of CEI - Vennard through the now more than 95 years of her history.  So, here is my 1006 Year Verse, with comment...and knowing you and your responses, you will comment, at least to Sue, that "there he goes again...always a homiletician, for I do intend to follow your example, and preach from this text during the year.

Year verse(s): "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by (and in - Greek text)Christ Jesus to all generation, forever and ever.  Amen."  (Ephesians 3:20-21)

A brief homiletical outline:
THE INCOMPARABLE GOD!
      Ephesians 3:20-21

1. The Acclamation of Who God Is - "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly
above all that we ask or think..."

A. His Resources are Immeasurable.  "He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above..."

B. His Responses are Impartial.  "All that we - His children - ask or think."

2. The Affirmation of Where God Lives - "According to the power that works in us..."
      A. A Place of Divine Power.  "...that works IN us..."

B. A Place of Determined Partnership.  "...according to..."

3. The Adoration that God Deserves - "To Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus to
all generations, forever and ever.  Amen."
  The glory is:
      A. The Overflow of Incarnational Love among the People of God. "
      B. The Outflow of Intimate Fellowship with the Lord Jesus Himself.

Well, there it is.  May you rejoice with me that we do indeed belong to, and serve an Incomparable God...in the midst of a world that so terrifyingly involved in idolatry...serving every conceivable "kind" of God.  Thank God that "the Word became flesh and lived among us." God bless you...and all our Vennard family.
Bob and Marge Morris

My year verse (passage) was confirmed to me when I received a Christmas note from one of my mentors - Professor Ralph Sprunk stating "here's a promise for you." It is Romans 8:28-32: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. . . If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all -- how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
What a wonderful promise for a Bible college president!
Dr Bruce Moyer, President of Vennard College

My year verse for 2006 is Romans 15:13, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Tim McGuire

Scripture for the year is as follows:  Revelation 10:11 "Then they said to me, You are to make a FRESH PROPHECY concerning many peoples and races and nations and languages and kings."    One door the Lord has opened for me is to be on staff with "Every Home for Christ".  Goal is twofold, one free prayer maps to pray for the whole world in one month. Second, raise funds for our Pioneer Missionaries who go home to home sharing Jesus and leaving a gosple message which includes one for children and one for adults. To date we have been to 1/4 of the homes in the world.  Some nations we are on our thrid coverage of going into every home. "And this good news of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end."  Matthew 24:14. I need healing of nerves and muscles to be more involved in this great work of the Kingdom.
Al Wagner

I would like to share my year verse: I Corinthians 5:7, NAS, "Be a new lump, just as you are in fact." It grabs my attention and speaks to me and possibly of me. It inspires me and makes me laugh and reminds me of my place.
Stacey Higgins

What a wonderful opportunity to share with our Vennard Family.  I look forward to this each year.
Hebrews 11: 8  "By faith Abraham . . . obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going."
Howard Ledford - 1977 Graduate

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
Sherri (Lindahl) Ledford - 1977 Graduate

Howard has a new position with Lanier Technical College and has opportunities to serve in many leadership positions local, regional and statewide.  Sherri continues to serve in the middle school, is making our new house a wonderful loving home and works hard to keep Howard in order. Our son Jordan (now 15 years old) is a blessing.  All three of us thank God for the many opportunities we have to serve Him in ways we could not envision.

Thank you for the opportunity to contribute to the Festival of Praise.  I also thank you for introducing me to the concept of the “year verse”, I have been doing this annually for over 20 years and have found it be a great blessing!  This years verse is well known and if memory serves me correct one that is quite significant to you personally. “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last.  Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.”(John 15:16)
Coram Deo, Chris Hill

"My heart says of you, 'Seek His FACE!' Your FACE, Lord, I will seek." Ps. 27:8 I am looking forward to experiencing a deeper level of compaionship and friendship with the Lord this year.
Shelly Cox

Deuteronomy 31:8 The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
Sandy Harris

"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged"(DEUTERONOMY 31:8 NIV)  "I am with you and will watch over you, wherever you go, "  (GENESIS 28:15a NIV)
